Tasting Notes

Expressive, bright and playful, singing with jolly rancher and sour wild cherry, sour gooseberry? Lesser notes of pithy stone fruit and fuzzy peach, sour citrus and nectarine. The palate follows with the same essence, leaning into the tart red fruits and jolly rancher. Tart and refreshing but with a textual mouthfeel.

Light to meddium bodied. Dry/high acid.

Vineyard 

Abbotsford (Sig/PN) - A small 2.5 acre organic site (29yrs - non certified) in with dominantly alluvial soils. The site is planted with various hybrid styles of vines along with Pinot Noir. It's been dry farmed for the last 15yrs. 

Process 

100% Abbotsford field blend; 40% Siegerrebe, 20% Madeleine Angevine, 15% Madeleine Sylvanner, 10% Kerner, 10% Bacchus, 5% Pinot Noir.   

6 day skin maceration, co-fermented. Pressed to neutral oak barrels for 10 months on primary lees.  

190 cases produced.
