Tasting Notes

Expressive and playful, singing with fuzzy peach, nectarine and apricot, oh and there's a jolly rancher in your mouth too! The palate follows with the same essence, leaning into the tropical peach and apricot with sour cherry. Tart and refreshing but with a textual mouthfeel. 

Medium to light bodied. Dry/high acid.

Vineyard 

Abbotsford (Sig/PN) - A small 2.5 acre organic site (29yrs - non certified) in with dominantly alluvial soils. The site is planted with various hybrid styles of vines along with Pinot Noir. It's been dry farmed for the last 15yrs. 

Osoyoos (Syrah) - 15yr old certified organic vineyard in Osoyoos, southern Okanagan Valley. A very dry and hot site, sporting pretty much 100% sandy soils.

Summerland (Gew) - A 12yr old lakefront site with silty, calcium rich clay soils. 345-475m elevation. Conventionally farmed. 

Process 

40% Carbonic Siegerrebe + Carbonic Gew - fermented separately for 7 days in steel / 15% Pinot Noir - One day skin contact, pressed into old neutral oak barrels / 15% Syrah - One day skin contact, pressed into old neutral oak barrels / 15% Gew - 7 days skin contact, pressed into old neutral oak barrels / 15% Siegerrebe - 5 days skin contact,  pressed into old neutral oak barrels.
